OGA Teacher
Consultant grant applications
are now available on-line in pdf format. The following grants are available for OGA TCs: 1- Grants
for All Teachers
Family Geography: OGA Teacher Consultants are eligible to apply for grants for family geography programs in their schools. Individual grants will not exceed $500; groups of TCs may apply for group project grants up to $1500. Teaching Incentive: These grants are intended for actual instruction, such as those items that are found in the "400's" budget category. Some examples would be: classroom atlas, videos, software, paperback books and special supplies needed to complete a project. Grant monies cannot be used to finance workshop/conference fees, meals and lodging, transportation expenses, or equipment. Individual grants will not exceed $1000; groups of TCs may apply for group project grants up to $3000. Travel Grants: OGA would like to support its Teacher Consultants as they represent OGA at conferences, seminars, and workshops by providing a stipend to offset costs incurred by the Teacher Consultant. These costs may include registration, travel, lodging and meals. The maximum stipend offered for out-of-state travel is $550 and maximum stipend for in-state travel is $150.
